Privacy policy

What we collect

• What you enter in the demo form: your name, gym name, phone, email, number of locations, and whether you want product news.
• To check that a person is sending: Cloudflare Turnstile reads your IP address and browser details.
• To prevent abuse: we count how many times your IP address sends within an hour. The count is kept only in the server's memory and cleared after an hour.
• To remember your language: when you open a page in Chinese or English, the website stores a cookie named lang in your browser. It holds only that language, so the home address takes you straight back to it next time.
• To see how the website is used: Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser and records which pages you view, where you came from and what device you use. Nothing you enter in the form is given to Google Analytics.

Why we collect it

• To contact you, arrange and give the demo, answer your questions about FitO, and discuss working together.
• If you ticked the box for product news, to send you news about FitO features and events.
• To check that a person is sending, prevent abuse, and improve the website.

Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, the form data serves the purposes coded 040 (marketing) and 090 (consumer and customer management and service).

Where it is kept and who handles it

What you send in the form is emailed to our inbox and kept there, not in a separate database. These services handle data for us, only as we instruct:

• Google: Google Workspace (email), Google Cloud (website hosting), Google Analytics (usage statistics)
• Amazon Web Services: Amazon SES (sends the request and the confirmation, located in Tokyo, Japan)
• Cloudflare: Turnstile (checks that a person is sending) and delivery of the website

These services may store data outside Taiwan, for example in Japan or the United States. Apart from them, and where the law requires it, we never give, sell or rent your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

• Demo requests: one year from our last contact with you, then deleted. If you become a customer, for the period set in our contract.
• If you agreed to product news, your name and email until you stop it.
• The count of requests sent: one hour.
• The language cookie (lang): one year, counted again each time you open a page.
• Google Analytics data: 14 months.

What you can do

Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask to see your data, get a copy, have it completed or corrected, have us stop collecting, processing or using it, and have it deleted. Email service@fitocloud.app; once we confirm it is you, we act on it within the time the law sets.

Every product news email tells you how to stop it. You can also reply, or email service@fitocloud.app.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and still use this website.

If you'd rather not give your details

Without your name, gym name, phone, email and number of locations, the request can't be sent and we can't contact you about a demo. Leaving product news unticked doesn't affect your request.

How we protect it

The whole website is served over HTTPS. Server logs record only whether a request went through, never what you entered. Only the people who contact you can read your request.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update this page and its date. If a change affects your rights, we say so clearly on the website.
